All for one to Ukraine
The western neighbor of Ukraine, Poland has opened its borders for the Ukrainian war refugees. Within just a week of the war in Ukraine over a million of Ukrainians, mostly women and children, arrived in Poland. Coffeedesk and the Polish roastery business have decided to get involved in humanitarian help for Ukraine. As one of the biggest coffee omnichannel in CEE, Coffeedesk has taken the role of a hub of CSR actions provided jointly by the Polish coffee industry to support the Ukrainians.
“Many of our companies have Ukrainian employees, clients or business partners. That is why providing support for our Ukrainian friends and their relatives in Ukraine has become our priority. We are constantly verifying if they are safe and what kind of help is required. We also have invited Polish roasteries to pro-Ukrainian coffee collaboration. Jointly we will collect money from selling coffee and donate it to charity organizations helping inhabitants of Ukraine, says Łukasz Wichłacz, CEO of Coffeedesk.

Non-profit coffee from Poland to Ukraine
On March 10th, a non-profit coffee for Ukraine was introduced. It was made together by Coffeedesk and Polish green bean supplier Bero Polska (part of Neumann Kaffee Gruppe) and five Polish roasteries: HAYB, Autumn, LaCava, Kafar and Story. All revenue for selling 1000 packages of the non-profit coffee will go to PAH Polish Humanitarian Action that is helping the Ukrainians who escaped to Poland and those who didn't leave their country.
The non-profit coffee is unique. All parties are involved in the project for free. Bero donated green beans, five Polish roasteries (HAYB, Autumn Coffee Roasters, LaCava, Kafar, Story) roasted them free of charge and Coffeedesk is distributing it without any margins. Coffeedesk is also responsible for labeling and marketing of the non-profit coffee. As a label one will see hand-drawn flags made by Coffeedesk staff. The company is famous for hand-made drawings at every package sent to Coffeedesk clients. The non-profit coffee is available worldwide.
Coffeedesk global suppliers donating products & moneyCoffeedesk has also invited international suppliers to donate products and money for refugees. The interest among the coffee business to help Ukrainians is huge. Among the partners that have already declared to get involved in joint action there are: Asobu, Le Piantagioni, Johan, Puqpress, BaristaSpace. Coffeedesk is now waiting for the transport of non-profit supplies. The Polish omnichannel special team will redistribute the products to humanitarian organizations.
